Our Story
Built by a Racer,
for Racers.
Advanced Race Coaching was founded by Chris Fry after identifying a glaring gap in UK sailing: there was no structured pathway for club racers who wanted to compete at a national level.
The RYA does a brilliant job getting people into sailing. But once you've got your certificates, where do you go? Elite coaching has always been locked behind Olympic pathways, invitation-only squads, or foiling-focused programmes.
ARC exists for the rest of us — the Enterprise sailors, the Solo fleet, the GP14 crews, the ILCA racers who want to go from mid-fleet to podium. We've assembled a team of national and world champions who know exactly what it takes.
Our approach combines on-water coaching with 360° video analysis, fortnightly performance appraisals, strength and nutrition programmes, and a community that celebrates every step forward.
